Workshop – Local Maps

We have a wide range of maps covering the parish of Daresbury.  The Tithe maps c1840 and the large scale OS maps of 1910 are always of interest.  The Tithe apportionments also give details of the owners and occupiers of houses, farms and fields and tell us what crops were being grown.

Come at 7pm for tea, cake and a chat and we will be giving an introduction to the maps, their content and context, at 7.30pm
