IMGP3692St PetersThis unique Grade 1 listed building will be open to view its history and artefacts between 11am and 4pm. A talk will be given at 1pm. by local historian and Church Reader, Philip Littlemore, who will explain the importance of this church both in social historical context and also its links to other sites and noble families in the area – Norton Priory, Thelwell etc.

Come and learn about the fascinating life of Chloe Gambia, a black slave who worked on the Aston Estate and is buried in the Churchyard. Enjoy tea, coffee, and cakes, which will be available throughout the day.

Although the Church is fully accessible, the Churchyard ground is uneven and would not be suitable for wheelchairs.
