We hold our meetings at St John’s (Weston) Church Hall, which is behind the church. We meet once a month for talks and events which relate to both the history of Runcorn and to that of the surrounding area. We keep an archive which holds a growing number of documents, photographs and historical material. We endeavour to maintain our Society website and we can also be found on Facebook, links above.

We usually meet on the first Friday of every month at 7:30pm, except for January (a winter break) and August, when we go on our Annual Outing. Details of talks and events can be found on our website on the meetings programme page.

Admission to talks is free for members although visitors are welcome to join any of our meetings when a £2 entrance fee is charged. You can, of course, become a full member by completing a membership application form and giving or posting it, with the joining fee, to our Membership Secretary or any of the Society’s officers.

Members wishing to do research and make presentations to the Society are given every support and encouragement to do so, and will be able to make use of the Society’s audio/visual equipment.
